Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement

Well after days of looking at the internet at Subway which is my new job, I have seen some amazing things. I also came across an article that was written about how this man named Martin Luther King Jr. was fighting for freedom for all men. This historical event also helped women gain rights as both women and the color folks had very little rights and they both wanted that to change. I saw his famous  I Have a Dream speech on this video tube website and it was fantastic. He was a great speaker and gave inspiration to all his followers and helped the opposing people understand what he wanted. Unfortunately he was killed. He did not only speak about civil rights, but about many things such as the Vietnam war. He wanted to make the US a better place for all and he only wanted piece between everyone. He was assassinated because of what he was doing. He is remembered as a hero to many people because of his braveness!

A New Era for Women

In the news the other day I saw a news post on the internet about a women running for president in the election of 2016. This ladies name was Hillary Clinton and I did my research on her and she has been in politics for awhile and was once the first lady to the 42nd President name Bill Clinton. This is a big leap for ladies everywhere with women being able to run for president! She has put a lot of work into this and I look forward to her campaign in which they announced she will be starting small, but trying to turn it into a massive campaign. Her campaign manager has set up a site for people to donate to help the campaign and they are looking to raise 2.5 billion dollars which is SO much money! She also has my vote.

Times flies by

This is Mary Wollstonecraft back in action. I was frozen for 200+ years and was thawed by a guy who works at this so called "Subway." He had some machine that released hot air and it was plugged into a building that gave it power. In my day we never had building that generated power like now a days. I also found work with my new friend named Joe who thawed me and now I am a sandwich "artist." I was never particularly a good cook nor a good conversationalist which Joe said would help me when I talk to people when they come in to the store to get a 5-dollar foot long. I have no idea what a foot long is, so I may do bad at this so called sandwich artist stuff that Joe says ill be doing...
Anyways since I have been back I have been to the latest clothing stores and they are definitely different from what I wear. No stores seem to sell the clothes that I am wear, so I may have to go to the cloth store and find a need to make my own clothes. Well here I go!

Wow I met lots of women in the Hobby Lobby that I visited for cloth and wow it seems like women have gained more rights from when I wrote my book A Vindication of the Rights of Woman where I wrote about how women should have the same educational opportunities that men get. Seems like men have realized that women are equal to men.
